Two Styles of Engine Lift Fixtures
Either of these two styles will lift your engine and ZF simultaneously out of the bay.
Both can give you the very low clearance you need to get the hoist in, and not interfere with the roof line.
These were displayed at the Maricopa Fun Rally…. The spider one requires a smaller shackle, and long bolts to go into the intake manifold.
With these fixtures, I have a complete set of bolts for both of them… (I just couldn’t find them when Dave came by!!!)

The vertical legs are hollow, square tube. There are 4 long, grade 8 bolts that go through the legs into the rear bolt holes of the intake manifold.
The balance point is about 3” forward of the back of the engine.
Remember, this fixture is for the engine and the ZF (both). It is “custom designed” to fit only with engines with Edelbrock Performer manifold…. It might fit other manifolds, but didn’t fit on my Blue Thunder manifold, which is why I made the more generic version of the lift plate.
